Hi, I’m Ferhana Jameel.
I’m a business psychologist and transformative coach specialising in inclusive practices. I’m driven by a simple belief: that our places of work should be where people experience psychological safety, dignity, and a genuine sense of fulfilment.
My career background includes 15 years of experience leading culture and transformation across global organisations in financial services, technology, and publishing. I hold an MSc in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and I’m an ICF-accredited transformative coach - combining systems-level insight with a practical, human approach to change. My work spans complex, regulated environments across 30+ countries and is grounded in a strong understanding of leadership, behaviour, and inclusion. I am also a trained Mental Health First Aider, reflecting my commitment to supporting wellbeing alongside performance.
In addition to my core training, I am completing a certified course to become an ADHD Coach accredited by the Association for Coaching (AC) and Universal Coaching Alliance (UCA). This includes training in executive functioning strategies, time and energy management, emotional regulation tools, and strengths-based coaching approaches.
My Approach
My approach is informed by organisational psychology, which is the science of people at work. Given how much of our lives we spend working (approx. 90,000 hours!) the quality of that experience matters. This underpins my approach to developing people, shaping culture, and supporting meaningful transformation.
I work across all levels of organisations - from grassroots communities such as employee networks to teams and senior leaders navigating complexity and change. I’m particularly interested in unlocking critical thinking - helping people question assumptions, shift mindsets, and translate insight into action that strengthens inclusion, belonging, and ultimately, high-performing cultures. Alongside this, my coaching creates space for individuals to step back, reflect, and make clearer, more intentional decisions.
My identity as a British South Asian Muslim woman and proud ADHDer, allows me to bring a perspective shaped by both lived experience and professional expertise. It’s why I also approach my work through a decolonial lens - a critical framework that challenges entrenched power structures, knowledge hierarchies, and cultural exclusions that continue to shape organisational life. This is central to my purpose: contributing to environments where people are recognised equitably, can participate fully, and are able to thrive on their own terms.
If you’re navigating complexity or looking to create meaningful change, let’s work together.
